Grant Yip (MS with Cathy)

General Research Interests

I received my masters at UCSB under the supervision of Dr. Cathy Busby and used field mapping, stratigraphic relationships, sedimentology, biostratigraphy and geochronology to demonstrate mass-wasting at the K/T boundary on the Baja California Peninsula. My current research focuses on the Miocene San Onofre Breccia and it's reflection of mid- to supracrustal events during the Miocene tectonic development of southern California. My current research is under the supervision of Dr. James Boles at UCSB.
